I tried to settle the dispute through a google image search, but I was the loser of that battle.
Whatever you answer you must remember, Lee is wrong and I am right, {of course} ! We can't let him win this after he beat me in the 1 mile race, can we?

When I ask "Cody will you get me a spatula" I am asking for the second one, I always ask for a "Rubber spatula" when I want the first one.

Same as Amy...I always call the first a rubber spatula and the second a spatula.
I just call them both a spatula... haha

I'm like half a year late to the party, but my husband and I have this same fight. I say the top one, he says the bottom. He says, "then what do you call (the bottom one)?" And I say, "I dunno? A flipper thing? what do you call (the top one)?" "Not a spatula."
